Mother Cow

On the 24 July in the evening we were coming down the road we spotted a cow that was calving. The cow had a sore hip so we had to help it. Dad tried to pull the calf out but it was too hard so after a while of trying Dad decided to get the ute. We hooked the bailing twine onto the calfs feet and Dad hooked the other end of the string on the towbar. He started to go forward and the cow went down. The calf eventually came out. It was healthy but Dad said that the calf wouldn't of lasted much longer if we hadn't of saved it
