Colour Poem
Green
Green makes me feel warm when the frost melts,
Green brings the trees to life in the spring,
Green grass turns brown when the flood goes down
Green tractors making hay in the paddock,
Green bush falling down in the wind,
Green flag flying,
Green paint going onto the shed, DON’T TOUCH!,
Green scales on a fish gleaming in the sun,
Green roof with builders on the top,
Green packaging for my Subway,
But not on my face.

Colour poem

For this poem we had to write a line for each birthday we have had in our lives. We had to brainstorm ideas that had something to do with our chosen colour. When we had enough ideas we made them into sentences to go in our poem.

Sense poem
Chocolate
Chocolate looks all yummy for my appetite,
Chocolate sounds like a stick breaking when you break a piece off,
Chocolate feels all gooey when it melts,
Chocolate tastes all sweet and I know it keeps my taste buds happy,
Chocolate smells delicious and makes me want to eat some more.

Sense poem

In this poem we had to write a line for each sense. Our senses are smell, taste, touch, sound and sight. We had to be creative and descriptive with our ideas.
