When I Went To The Power Saving Convention
When we were coming back from getting Justin some rugby boots we went to the power saving convention. Our technology teacher Mr D. told me about it the day before. When we arrived I saw the big windmill that the Inglewood high school has to help them cut down the power bill. It was really massive and interesting because it runs over a third of the school’s power. They also had a small demonstration of a waterwheel. It could run a light bulb. You can hook it up to and drain as long as it has a little fall on it. They also had a light bulb hooked up to a handle and if you turned the handle the light would go. I asked if you could hook it up to a windmill and the guy said that you can. One day I would like to purchase a turbine and hook it up to a windmill.
